6. Wardrobe malfunction – nip(ple) slip – crotch shots

Có 3 thuật ngữ ở tiếng Anh cần làm rõ là: 1. Wardrobe malfunction 2. Nip(ple) slip 3. Crotch shots:

– Từ ngữ ‘wardrobe malfunction’ do ca sĩ Justin Timberblake đặt ra sau sự cố trang phục trên sân khấu vừa đề cập nói trên. Từ này vẫn chưa có mặt ở từ điển Oxford nhưng sau sự cố nói trên nó đã được ghi trong từ điển ‘the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary’.

Một số ví dụ có cụm từ ‘wardrobe malfunction’:
a. Weather girl Sugey Abego causes storm with wardrobe malfunction.
b. Sophie Monk suffers near wardrobe malfunction in Thailand.
c. Ariel Winter had a wardrobe malfunction we’ve all experienced

– Nip(ple) slip, theo một từ điển tiếng lóng trực tuyến định nghĩa khá ngắn gọn nhưng lại dễ hiểu và hay ‘an accidentally revealed nipple’ và tương đương ở tiếng Việt là ‘lộ núm vú’ như ở các ví dụ sau:
a. Chrissy Teigen suffers a near nip slip while going braless at The …
b. She had a nip slip during her Houston concert.
c. These celebrities didn’t freak out whenever they accidentally exposed their nipples. Instead, they handle their nip slips like total bosses.

– Crotch shots là một danh từ ghép, kết hợp bởi danh từ ‘crotch’ và shots. Crotch shots có được nhiều định nghĩa trên mạng nhưng có lẽ định nghĩa sau cho ta làm cho ta thú vị vì dễ hiểu: ‘crotch shots is used by slash fans to describe the camera focus on the clothed male genitalia region. While the term is used outside of fandom both male and female focus, in slash fandom it has been used exclusively for male character.’ (là thuật ngữ được dùng bởi các ‘fan’ nam (slash fan) để mô tả ống kính tập trung vào vùng nhạy cảm (lộ vùng nhạy cảm có thể vì trang phục hớ hênh). Trong khi thuật ngữ này được dùng để mô tả vùng nhạy cảm cả hai phái thì trong giới hâm mộ nam nó chỉ được dùng riêng cho nam giới mà thôi). Thuật ngữ này có thể tương đương ở tiếng Việt là ‘phơi/lộ/khoe mu trước ống kính’ hay ‘lộ vùng nhạy cảm trước ống kính’ hay gọn hơn ‘lộ mu’, ‘khoe mu’.

Một số ví dụ có cụm từ ‘crotch shots’:
a. Women are always at risk of ‘crotch shots’
b. Miley Cyrus gets even nastier with topless, crotch shot pics.

7. Upskirt và down blouse

– Upskirt, theo trang Wikipedia, là một thuật ngữ ám chỉ việc chụp các bức ảnh không được phép dưới váy của phụ nữ, chụp hình ảnh vùng đáy (nơi nhạy cảm), đồ lót và đôi lúc bộ phận sinh dục (Upskirt refers to the practice of making unauthorized photographs under a woman’s skirt , capturing an image of her crotch area , underwear and sometimes genitalia).
Một số ví dụ có từ ‘upskirt’
a. Banker who took ‘upskirt’ pictures of women avoids prison sentence.
b. Man jailed for taking upskirt photos using phone in McDonald’s in Western Road, Brighton.

– Down blouse, cũng theo trang Wikipedia, là một dạng loạn dục cọ xác hoặc thị dâm liên quan đến việc nhìn (chăm chăm) ngực phụ nữ khi nhìn áo quần họ. ‘Down blouse’ có thể là chụp các bức ảnh không được phép ở phần trên của váy phụ nữ, áo khoác hoặc áo quần, chụp hình ảnh vú hay khe ngực).
(Downblouse is a form of sexual fetishism or voyeurism involving watching female breasts while looking down a woman’s dress. It may take the form of making unauthorized photographs down the top of a female’s dress , blouse or other garment, capturing an image of her breasts or cleavage).
Tuy nhiên, theo một từ điển trực tuyến ‘Wiktionary’ thì down + blouse. Literally a description of the action taken, looking down a woman’s blouse to see her breasts.

Ví dụ.
We saw downblouse photos of her cleavage on the net.

8. Các từ ngữ có thể dịch là ‘lộ hàng’ ở tiếng Việt

a. That new gown shows a large amount of (her) CLEAVAGE.
b. Why do many women wear shirts show CLEAVAGE?
c. A woman wearing a cropped top that BARES the MID-RIFF.

9. Các câu có các từ/ngữ mang nghĩa ‘lộ hàng’/’dễ lộ hàng’ trong các nội quy của trường học

a. Do not wear clothing which is too REVEALING.
b. Girls should not wear LOW CUT TOPS, MIDRIFF TOPS or VERY SHORT SKIRTS or SHORTS.
c. Skirts should not be too TIGHT, TRANSPARENT, REVEALING, casual, wrinkled, sloppy.
